AZUMI BOUTIQUE HOTEL | A HOME IN THE CITY

Updated: Sep 30, 2021

It was the 4th of January that marked the second wedding anniversary of me and hubby. Mostly, we will choose to spend this kind of occasion thru an out of town vacation but this time, we prefer for a staycation so that our 1 year old Xander can come and celebrate with us. Azumi Boutique Hotel was an easy pick as I was impress on its interior design that looks really charming. The infinity fool was also one of the top convincing magnet. The hotel is located in the progressive City of Alabang, Muntinlupa which was very accessible to Caviteños like us.

We got a Queen Room for P3,500.00 without breakfast inclusion. It came with a balcony that has a view of the city. Oh, how I always want a room with balcony to have a space where you can just look around and breath. The street where the hotel is located was clean and peaceful. The room was impressive. Quite big than I expected that Xander enjoyed roaming around. I love the simplicity and coziness at the same time. The life size window, the large bed and the wooden flooring are my favorites. The room came also with a big clothes cabinet, small kitchen sink which is very helpful to us because of Xander's milk bottles, a mini ref, a kettle and an oven. The bathroom is also a catch. It was neat and clean. I wonder how we got so lucky.

Though our room was just in front of a high rise building which seems to be a private office, it didn't bother us because we know that our window is tinted. But if it makes you uncomfortable that someone from the other side may see you, the blinders which was as big as the size of the window can be rolled down anytime.

This may be my favorite spot of the hotel. The design was Instagram worthy. It was unique and has a personal touch. Composed of a lot of lovely framed photos with furniture that was equally cozy. Since we came on the 1st week of January, the Christmas tree was still on display that added a homey feels. Indeed, was a home goals for me.

The hotel have a Nail Spa!!!

Xander wanted to get all the Christmas balls. :)

I am actually torn on which is my best favorite part of the hotel. As I told you how much I love the Azumi's interior, the infinity pool makes me think twice sometimes. The pool has just enough size with a landscape view of the City. When you are on height and you see how lovely the sky and your surroundings, it's difficult not to love it.

Our little lifeguard. :)

The hotel location has a good numbers of fast food around. You just need to walk a little and cross the street. But if you don't want to go out, there's the Romulo Cafe at the ground floor of the hotel. I love the bar area, though small, the wine cabinets was really nice. The colors of the restaurant was also cooling. Apple green has always been one of my fave colors (as obvious on my blog font color).

Since our booking has no breakfast inclusions and we ate outside during our whole stay, we had a chance to try the food after check out with my father and sister who came to fetch us. We ordered chicken adobo, monggo soup and ... I actually forgot. Hahaha! Sorry. Didn't even got a chance to snap a photo of the food. But I can still remember that everything tasted good especially the adobo. The price was fine though a big difference to a fast food ofcourse. I remember paying almost 2k for our lunch.

This little boy definitely enjoyed so much. :)

Azumi was unexpectedly pleasant and pretty. I love everything in it, especially that the location is just a walking distance at Alabang Town Center where Xander had a nice time exploring. I also loved the fact that Xander enjoyed walking around the room. Though it was hard to let him go on the lobby because he might break something from the furniture. Hahaha!

This had been one happy anniversary celebration for us. And Azumi made it more special. So I told my husband this will not be the last time we will visit Azumi. If only I knew that boutique hotels are really impressive, I should have find boutique hotels from my previous travels before. Thumbs up!
