With a lot of activities that the Southern Cebu offers, at last, I come to this 6th and final series of our Samboan adventure. Compared to the adrenaline rush experience of island and waterfalls hopping, whale sharks encounter, and mountain trekking, this heritage tour will be more of sight seeing and walking. This kind of tour are often missed. Glad we didn't. Honestly, the southern part of Cebu exceeded my expectation. The combination of adventure, historical and scenic view was more than what we had hoped for.
1 | RUINS OF OSLOB
If you are done with you're beach hopping at Oslob, the Ruins are good spot for another Instagram photos. And the location is along a beautiful bay walk.

One of the best spots in the Ruins. the Cuartel was made of a coral stone, a two-storey unfinished building which served as a barracks of the Spanish Armies.

One of the oldest church that can be found in Cebu, started with year 1830 and completed after 18 years or 1848. It was also made of the coral stones.
Going out of Oslob, we came across this old church along the highway and the view across the street was as pretty as it was. I just took a snap and continue to move, regret that we didn't took the name.
2 | ALEGRIA
Alegria is another municipal in the province of Cebu. We came across a park with an overlooking Tañon Strait that made it so pretty. We stayed until sunset.
3 | SAMBOAN

Ponong Lake is located at Samboan. Though it is called lake, it is actually a lagoon full of mango grooves or bakawan trees. To fully enjoy the lake, you can have a tour riding a bamboo raft. We came at after sunset so we didn't have the time to explore the lake.
Swimming is prohibited in the lake. And take note that getting here doesn't require any entrance fee. Unless you will ask for a tour, a tip is recommended for the guide(s).

St. Michael was constructed way back 1842 and still under use as of today. It is said to be made of coral stone and hard woods.
