As I always say, we never chase summer, summer chases us. That's the best thing in living in a tropical country. We never run out of summer, it runs 12 months a year. This time, we once again explore a resort in Mabini, Batangas and found ourselves at the Eagle Point Resort.
Location
Eagle Point Resort is located at Brgy. Bagalangit, Anilao, Mabini, Batangas. From Manila, ride any public buses going to Batangas City and drop off at Batangas Central Terminal. Then ride a jeepney bound to Mabini and alight to Mabini Rotunda. There will be tricycle in line that can bring you to any point of Resort in Anilao or nearby towns. Depends on the distance, rate can be into P100.00-250.00.

This seaside Resort has been in operations for 3 decades now. Their location at the tip of Calumpang Peninsula in Anilao, Batangas is definitely an advantage having the overlooking view of the sea while enjoying the resort's amenities. They offer different activities like scuba diving, snorkeling, island hopping, kayak and other aqua sports facilities.

The lobby is located directly after a descend from the parking area. The main lobby is in elevated spot and has a nice appeal especially on its interior. The ceiling and furniture were all made of woods that made the ambiance cozy and relaxing. Once you go down from the stairs, a big glass window with tables and chairs will welcome your sight. This particular spot of the resort is the one that I think I most liked.

The restaurant offers Filipino and some Greek meal. We did all of our meal in the eagle's nest since we didn't go out of the resort. We also have our complimentary breakfast. The food was good and in good serving size.

The Resort has 3 swimming pools that can be enjoyed for free. The main one is located beside the main building. It has a children and adult size pool with slides on it. Overlooking the pool is the vast area of the Anilao sea. The other pool is located on the far end of the resort. overlooking the islands of Maricaban and Sombrero. You need to walk on the garden and passed some resort's Cabanas to reach it. It was not that far but I think the resort can offer a golf car if you opt a ride. The last pool is a reef pool (didn't have a photo though). It was specifically intended for diving lessons and snorkeling activities for those who want to be more safe and doesn't want to snorkel in an open sea. The reef pool has a 12 ft deep.
Main Pool.
South end Pool. Didn't have a decent photos. It has a bar beside it. More private than the main pool.

If you wanted to come in style, why not! The Resort has its own helipad built in front of the resort.

It will just take a few minutes to be able to explore the whole Resort. I loved that they were surrounded by a lot of plants and trees. Though the age of the resort have already shown on some of its structure, the interiors were properly maintained. And having a vast of ocean in front of you anywhere you sit around has been one of the treat.
I loved to experience this Villa. It was isolated and surrounded by plants and trees.
It was cloudy during our stay but glad we still saw a glimpse of sunset.
I didn't got a chance to have a photos of our room. We had 1 room for the 5 of us with two double beds and 1 extra bed, located near the main pool. It has its own small balcony. Not as cozy but comfortable enough to fit on our group for a night of stay.
Overall, out stay was fun and enjoyable. There's a lot of nice hotels and resorts already built along Anilao but I think Eagle Point had been a classic part and history of the town. And did I already mention that they own a part of Maricaban Island called Sepoc Beach Center, a nice white sand beach that is 20 minutes boat ride from the resort that you can visit for a certain fee.
Already blogged about Sepoc Beach, you can check it here.
