If you have been following my blog, Coron Westown Resort will be familiar to you. It was the Resort that we picked to stay on my first time in Coron, Palawan last 2015. And surprise, surprise! I was back again in Coron on 2016. Seems the same but don't be confuse as M02 Westown Lagoon is a different resort. Though I found out that both resorts are owned by the same person/group. If you have been to both, the similarities are noticeable, only that M02 is the boutique version of the Coron Westown Resort.

During my first stay at Coron, the location where M02 stand was an empty lot. Just after a year, M02 was built. Looking on the web for M02 Coron, most of it will locate you to the Coron Westown page. Maybe because they are on the same street, across each other. From the Busuanga airport, around 45 minutes drive and before you reach the town, you will first reach the resort. It is a 15 minutes trike drive to the Town. It is located at Sitio Dipulao, Brgy. Poblacion 6, Coron, Palawan, Philippines. Make sure to contact the resort for the airport pick up so the drive to resort wont't be a hassle to you.
This is the driveway of the M02. And as I mentioned earlier, the Coron Westown is just across the street.

Just enough size for a lobby with a set of sofa to seat around and with a direct access to their dining area. If you want some tour packages of Coron, the hotel can provide it to you.

This is definitely my favorite part of the resort. Plants were just starting to grow when we were here. I guess it will look better once fully grown and if the resort can put more greens for the room balconies because it looks plain. We got to enjoy the pool every night during our stay. The only time we can spend more time on the resort because our days were spent in the island tours.

I loved that it was an open area with an overlooking view of the pool. And they used a ceiling fan, literally. They got a big serving on their menus with a reasonable taste and price.
Dining area from the outside.

We stayed on a room for two and since we were 3, we just add an additional bed. The room cost 5k+ per night for the 3 of us with free breakfast for two. A mid range budget. The size was enough for two, and a little narrow for 3.
Lobby to the rooms.
Every room has a balcony. Overlooking the pool area.
Sorry for the mess, we already settled in before I took the photos. :)
All in all, it was a nice resort considering that it was just around a year in operation when we stayed here, though a little expensive for a boutique hotel. We got a pleasant experience and the service was good. I also like the distance from the town, a little faraway from the noise and crowd.
