For quite some time, Alabang had been one of our staycation haven because of its accessibility from Cavite and the fact that it is surrounded by shopping malls and kids playgrounds. When we went for another stay, we decided to try Vivere which had been one of the 5-star hotels in Alabang. This gigantic structure in the City of Muntinlupa caters 200 elegant rooms and a nice dining experience on their most sought dine in the sky restaurant.
LOCATION
Located at 5102 Bridgeway Avenue, Filinvest City, Alabang, Muntinlupa City, the hotel can be easily seen just across the Filinvest Mall. Coming from Manila, you can opt to ride in any public buses going to alabang and hop off at Filinvest mall. If in private car, Filinvest exit at Slex will be your way. Same as from Cavite, most of the public rides stops at Filinvest area and you can walk from there going to the hotel.
AMENITIES

Though the facade of the hotel and it's front door seems old and normal, what will welcome you inside is a different story. The lobby was huge and shows its elegance from floor to ceiling and smoothly clean with the wood, stone and marble combination. Color were brown, black, white and cream with a touch of green from the fresh plants around.
The lobby has at least 3 big parts of waiting area with comfy couches and table.

We booked for a deluxe room which was good for two persons and 2 kids. The room was spacious in the 35 sq.m size with complete room amenities from regular refrigerator size, sink, cabinet and flat screen TV. The bed was comfy and big. Though it doesn't have a balcony the window glass was floor to ceiling that made the experience extra special. And the marble floor was something I really loved. It was elegant and cozy.

Our view from the room.
The window was so inviting for a photo shoot. So I gave in. :)

As a parent, I love places where kids are considered in the plan and have children friendly service and amenities . Extra points to Vivere for this.

Lama pool is located in the 4th floor of the hotel. Though we only check it and never really had an intention to swim. They have also gym and spa which we unfortunately missed to check.

This is one of the most sought amenities that the hotel offers. The nest is also popular for the non-hotel guests. It is located on their 31st floor, the reason it is is also called "dining in the sky." Hotel guests enjoy a buffet breakfast as a complimentary.
This will welcome your sight once the elevator door opens.
The buffet offers a different mix of breakfast that you will definitely enjoy.
You can choose to dine indoor or outdoor. Though the outdoor offers a nice landscape of Laguna Bay view, it can really get crowded and hot on the peak hours. And the view was actually covered with plants if you are sitting.
The hotel offers complimentary car service if you want to roam around Alabang area. Though mostly is accessible, it's relaxing to know that there's a car that will bring you back in the hotel after a long walk inside the malls or parks.
Our stay was nothing but excellent. We had a comfortable stay and we enjoyed the amenities and accessibility of the hotel to nearby cool places to hang out with. I'd been with boutique and few hotels in Alabang and so far Vivere will be one of the top choices when in comes to service and ambiance. Definitely a jewel in the Metro South.
